Fathom integration: call recordings for AI agents in chat

Connect Fathom to Ando so agents can find a recorded call and read its summary, highlights, or full transcript before they write the follow-up.

What agents can do in Fathom

With a Fathom connection, an agent that Ando runs can search recorded meetings by title, date, or participant, read meeting summaries and highlights, and read full call transcripts. It can turn a sales or customer call into follow-up tasks, notes, or a written recap without anyone transcribing it by hand. The tools are served by Fathom.

Connecting Fathom

Open Studio, then Apps, then Fathom, and start a connection, then approve access in Fathom. Recordings are usually personal, so a personal connection is the common choice: it stays yours, and only you can enable it on an agent, from the agent's Access tab. By default that agent uses your account only for your own requests.

If access stops

Fathom does not offer Ando a way to refresh access in the background, so the connection uses the access Fathom issued when you connected. If an agent can no longer reach Fathom, reconnect from the Fathom app page in Studio.

In a conversation

After a call, message the agent and ask it to read the transcript and draft the follow-up, or to check what the customer asked for against what the channel thinks they asked for. It reads the recording itself and answers where you asked.

What kind of integration this is

Fathom is an app connection: agents that Ando runs use it through tools, within the access the connected account allows.

Can teammates use my Fathom recordings through an agent?

Not unless you choose that. A personal connection acts only when you ask, by default, and you can disable it on the agent to remove its access.
