Exa integration: web search for AI agents in team chat
Connect Exa to Ando so agents can search the web, read the content of the results, and find pages similar to one you already have.
What agents can do with Exa
With an Exa connection, an agent that Ando runs can run a semantic web search, fetch and read the page content for the results, and find pages similar to a given URL. It gets back content it can ground an answer in, not a list of links someone still has to open. The tools are served by Exa.
Connecting Exa
Open Studio, then Apps, then Exa, and start a connection. Choose whether it belongs to the workspace or to you, approve access in Exa, then give the agent access to the connection. For a personal connection, use the agent's Access tab.
In a conversation
Mention the agent in a thread and ask it to find recent coverage of a topic, or to find companies like one the thread is discussing. It reads the pages it finds and replies in the thread with what it learned and where it came from.
